Presentation

I'll be giving a presentation on my (shortened) paper "Romantic Tones in Scottish Fiction" for the BYU English Literary Conference on March 21st. It's really exciting because not only is it something great to put on my resume, I also get some practice for my future career in academia. Kind of nerve-wracking of course.

In other news, I'm progressing quite nicely on my novel and I'm working on three major projects in Scottish Literature. Two are for papers, another is for a group presentation for class. Though I'm getting graded on all of them, it's really helping me expand my research base. I never would have thought that I would be able to get this much work done, possibly towards my thesis, before I even start graduate school. I'm getting more and more excited to be in Stirling every day.
